Introduction
Laser hair removal is based on the principle of selective photothermolysis theory. Hair follicle and hair shaft rich melanin, melanin located in the hair bulb matrix between the cells, and also can be transferred to the hair shaft structure (e.g., medulla, cortex and cuticle), as the laser energy targets melanin accurately and selectively hair removal treatment. Melanin in the absorption of laser energy, a sharp rise in temperature, resulting in the disruption of the tissue around the hair follicles, the hair removal.
